Description:Shakti peeth Kurukshetra is famous for the falling off right ankle of Devi sati. As per the historical fact, the term kurukshetra is laid down as a vast field which was owned by the kuru family. This is the only place where the battle of Mahabharata has been fought between Pandus and Kurus. Devi Ma’s idol at this particular Shakti peeth is known as Savitri where as Lord Shiva is known as Aswanath.



Special information about this Place: The visitors will have a view of an amazing face of Goddess. According to the belief, the front head portion of Mata Sati fell down at the place which is also been described in Shiva puran. The devotees have a view of three pindis in the image of Mata.
